As I noted yesterday, [ profile] summers_fling is open! And stories are still trickling in. I'd been planning to make a recs post after I finished reading, but seriously, I have wanted to put EVERY SINGLE FIC I've read so far on it. So go, start at the top or bottom and read your way through. I promise you won't regret it.

I wrote "Confessional" for [ profile] sionnain. It's AXM Scott/Emma, pre-Gifted, and there's poetry and anger and desk!sex. ;)

And the awesome [ profile] resolute wrote me "Hellfire", a X-Men/Battlestar Galactica sort-of-crossover-sort-of-AU. I don't know a thing about BSG, but I still ADORED it. She really captures how love of reading can play out in a child's life and the human need for heroes that we all share. It's fantastic and clever and if you're at all into X-Men OR BSG, go read it! (contains spoilers for BSG's "Maelstrom")

Well, I slept the sleep of the dead last night -- who would've thought posting day would be so hectic? So it's time to catch up on homework and then go to class. Have a lovely day, flist!

I hope you don't mind, but I'm friending you. :)

1. You have cool icons.

2. You post a lot about the Things That Are Going On, which I'd like to keep up with.

3. Fics, of course.

and 4. You live in Atlanta, as do I! This means that your comments about cars and traffic and stuff are funny to me. *amused*

I don't mind at all! You're friended back for Bobby love and listing Boondock Saints under your interests. And it's always nice to have someone who understands gridlock on the perimeter on my friendslist!

Yeah, I saw your Conner and Murphy icon and had to get a napkin to wipe away the drool. So much BDS love... Hehehehe.

I didn't take the opportunity to do so before, but I just wanted to thank you for your part in making summers_fling happen. I have no idea what kind of work it involves, but however little - or likely a lot - of work it is, I greatly appreciate it. Although only a reader this time around, I've had the best time reading over them all.

Aww, thanks, hon! The work came in spurts, so as a college student used to procrastinating (and then having to make up for the procrastinating), it was all right. :D Definitely worth it to have a comm full of Scott stories. I'm really glad you've been enjoying the fics!
